Solidly in the annals of super-awesome are the New York Times interactive map features, which this weekend featured a survey of changing demographics along the New York City Marathon route. Takeaways: property along the route has gotten much more expensive (ahem, Park Slope and Long Island City), with the exception of Mott Haven in the Bronx. Fort Greene typifies the changing racial shifts along the route: whites in, and ethnic groups out, except in Bay Ridge, where Arab and Asian immigrants now form the majority. [NYT via NYMag]
