The city and the residents of 1 Sutton Place South finally resolved their long-standing disagreement over the building's lawn last week, with a piece of it to become part of a 10,000-square-foot waterfront public park. Now DNAinfo reports that David Kamp of landscape architecture firm Dirtworks has been hired to create the $2M park. Kamp hasn't revealed his preliminary design plans yet, but he's been involved in the project since long before last week's agreement was announced. His specialty is "therapeutic gardens," which sounds like what everyone involved in this project needs. [DNAinfo]
