Developer's Own Full-Floor Pad at The Empire Asks $17.9M

New, 11 comments

How about a little early morning floorplan porn, hmm? A tipster tells us this new-to-market 26th-floor apartment at The Empire belongs to building developer Trevor Davis, but even if it doesn't?we don't see a past sale listing for the unit?the closets alone are worthy of note. (And if it is Davis's place, the legal dramas at another Davis building, 1055 Park Avenue, might be a reason to seek some extra cash.) The neutral decor leaves us a little cold, but perhaps it will be more to the taste of the sort of buyer who can pay the $17.9 million ask. The brokerbabble is certainly drool-worthy enough: "this glamorous 6,042 square foot, six bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, apartment offers superb panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline; Central Park; the East River; and the Empire State Building. The glamorous living room with a bay window opens on to a corner library and a chic wood-paneled home office. The master bedroom has an over-sized dressing room and a massive, marble en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub offering views of the Empire State Building." Sightseeing and massaging jets!
