Old-school fishmonger M. Slavin & Sons just sold three adjoining buildings on South Street to a developer for an estimated $15 million mixed-use project. The Slavin family sold 104-106 South Street, a series of four-story brick buildings, in order to make enough money to avoid bankruptcy for the 100-year-old fish supplier. No details yet on what's going in, but the buildings cover 22,236 square feet with an additional 8,500 of buildable space. [The Real Deal]
