Recent DOB filings call for a new building where the Brooklyn Eagle HQ currently stands at 30 Henry Street, and now there are some fresh details on that building from Brooklyn Heights Blog and the Brooklyn Eagle itself. The building is set to be five stories (not six as it says on the permits), with five units and a parking garage. Floors two through four will have the same layout, with a different layout on the penthouse level. The design is a work in progress, with the architects at BKSK currently making another attempt at a look that "celebrates our time," the Brooklyn Heights Association's executive director tells the Eagle. We're not quite sure what that means, but we do know the building will have a courtyard with a waterfall. We like!
