A federal appeals court has turned down two UWS hotels' request to block the new short-term rental law, which bans renting apartments out overnight. The Hotel Alexander and Dexter House filed the suit, but a three-judge panel ruled they did not prove the law causes irreparable damage to the hotels' business. The Alexander still plans to lobby city and state officials to keep some units open to short-term tenants. [Real Deal]
