Housing Court Appeal

New, 1 comment

A coalition of tenant advocates is pushing for reforms to Brooklyn Housing Court procedures that they say heavily favor landlords. Many of the suggested reforms are based around the disparity of treatment experienced by tenants and landlords' attorneys. A coalition of organizations will campaign for the changes at the 141 Livingston St. facility today, a month after submitting its recommendations to Deputy Chief Administrative Judge Fern Fisher, who oversees housing courts citywide.
