The city is hoping to turn a Coney Island Creek bus depot into a hotel. There's just one problem: the site is in an industrial area full of car dealerships, big-box retailers, and parking lots. Make that two problems: the bus depot is also four blocks from the Coney amusement district. Developers have until February 13 to respond if interested; the property could also become retail, offices, or apartments. [BK Daily]
