$6.8 Million Brooklyn Heights Townhouse Is In Teardown Condition

New, 3 comments

Between 74 Hicks Street selling for $6,000,000 and 40 Willow Place aka Brooklyn's most valuable house just going into contract, the Brooklyn Heights market is looking pretty strong to us. The sellers of this townhouse at 146 Willow Street must agree with that sentiment, because they just listed the place for $6,800,000 with no interior photos to be found. We have more cause for concern for the 7,800 square foot building when the listing goes on to say "The townhouse will be delivered vacant ready for your complete renovation. Bring your architect, contractor, designer and ideas to transform and customize this former multi-family apartment building. DELIVERED VACANT WITH DEMOLITION PERMITS IN PLACE." Yikes. Even given the fact that the house is massive and in the best location, this is the kind of price that goes with a move-in condition townhouse in this area. Guesses for a final sales price?
