Minimalist Architect Designs Typically Minimalist Soho Kitchen

New, 7 comments

The listing describes this 2BR, 2BA co-op at 100 Greene Street as "mint & minimalist," and for once we must give points for accurate brokerbabble. In fact, the renovated full-floor apartment has a kitchen designed by minimalist architect John Pawson of Ian Schrager penthouse fame. What Pawson created: "The John Pawson designed Obumex kitchen is open to the entertaining space and features a 10-foot center-island with cook-top, and a seamless wall of retractable doors which conceal endless custom cabinetry and top-of-the-line Miele and Subzero appliances."

The pricing's relatively minimalist, too: the apartment is listed for $2.75 million after selling for $2.633 million in 2007 and $2.5 million in 2005.
