We mentioned yesterday that a New York State Supreme Court judge ordered the sale of 620 Sixth Avenue to proceed?as long as seller Yair Levy deposits $7.7 million into the escrow fund for Rector Square, the troubled Levy-developed condo building. Now the Journal has an update on just what the escrow deposit might mean for Rector Square: the new developer, Related, is in the midst of upgrading the property, and the units should hit the market sometime in the spring.
