Every December since 2004, Curbed readers have chosen the New York City neighborhood of the year, bestowing upon it a little award we like to call the Curbed Cup. (We promise the real fake trophy is nicer than our temporary graphic at right.) Voting will begin next week, but first, we need your input.
The Curbed Cup is a bracket-style, 16-neighborhood tournament, and we're open to your nominations for which neighborhoods to include. Put 'em in the comments of this post or e-mail 'em our way. And tell us why your nabe of choice is where the most happened in terms of development, new restaurants and retail, and general goings-on in 2011. Here are the past tournament winners:
2010: Harlem's FDB
2009: Williamsburg
2008: Madison Square Park
2007: Long Island City
2006: West Harlem
2005: Prospect Heights
2004: Fort Greene
