Glenwood Building Rises; Centurion Hits 70 Percent Sold

New, 2 comments

MIDTOWN WEST?A tipster writes, "We’ve been watching the new Glenwood rental tower rise on 39th between 8th and 9th Ave from our windows for a while now. Today we noticed an American flag flopping in the breeze, and it seems close to our 24th floor height." Indeed, the building is supposed to be a 25-story Stephen B. Jacobs Group-designed rental. MIDTOWN WEST?It's an all-Midtown West CurbedWire today (but don't get your hopes up, Midtown). Buried in a press release about a private art exhibit at the Pei-designed Centurion is this factoid: the building is 70 percent sold. It's slowly inching toward full, with an average recorded sale price of $2,059/square foot and an average ask on current listings of $3,679/square foot. [CurbedWire Inbox]
