Since we're already in a Bronx state of mind today, it seems like the perfect time to discuss this new project from the architects at WASA/Studio A. The project is a residence for 80 men in addiction recovery, and the architects tell us their "goal was to create a dignified and welcoming environment suffused with natural light and color that will facilitate the recovery process." On a concrete level, that means three floors of bedrooms and two floors of common spaces, plus a landscaped rear garden to be maintained by the residents. The architects describe it as "very simple and economical," and we would agree. Have a look in the gallery above.
