PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Tomorrow we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!
What/Where: 1BR, 1BA co-op on 38th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues
Square Feet: 1,100
Maintenance/CC: $1,400
The Skinny: Located on a 12th floor that feels like the "15th to 20th floor in a regular building," this one-bedroom loft shows off some nice open city views and some peeks at the Hudson. There's a sleeping loft for guests, but the carpeted staircase that leads up there looks more than a couple decades out of date. Serviced by a key-lock elevator, the apartment also offers a renovated kitchen that looks more than serviceable, despite a garish purple paint job. Oh and that one bedroom is, well, not quite a bedroom, but an interior bedroom. Is that typical loft feature enough to put buyers off, or has the proximity to the Lincoln Tunnel already weeded out the picky types? And how much is it? Guess away!
