Poor 525 Clinton Avenue. The building, once known as The Collection 525, put its 30 units, complete with high-tech "visionwall," on the market in fall 2008. Then it went into foreclosure due to fines and violation penalties owed following a scaffolding collapse that killed one construction worker. There was talk of turning the building into affordable housing, but that never came to pass. Now Brownstoner notices that the building is headed for a foreclosure auction on December 29, with a $25 million lien, after an original October auction was postponed. Won't someone please put this building out of its misery?
