Former Tiger Woods mistress Rachel Uchitel purchased a condo at 77 Park Avenue for a discounted $1.625 million last year, but she never moved in. Instead, she put the place on the rental market for $10,600/month while planning a major renovation that involved gold grills on the radiator and a bar. But perhaps she's changed her mind about the whole endeavor, because she just put the place back on the sales market, asking $1.95 million. (It's also still available as an $8,900/month rental.) Given the hush money factor, it probably wasn't the cost of renovation that altered Uchitel's plans, so has New York lost its appeal?
