Big Reveal: Pricing Some High-Floor Living in Long Island City

New, 13 comments

And now, the results of this week's PriceSpotter asking price guessing game...

Location: 4-74 48th Avenue #PH2A
Asking: $695,000

Long Island City's Citylights is an easy building to guess, but the same isn't quite true of this apartment's price. With the high maintenance and the possible presence of some lingering popcorn ceilings, most PriceSpotters put the psychological barrier for this apartment much lower than $700,000. The place last sold for $500,000 in 2007, pre-renovation, so the seller might not walk away with much, if any, profit. Catch y'all at the same time next week.
