A tipster writes: "After 18 months with no activity 433 W. 37th st is alive. Construction crews have put up a new scaffolding and have gone back to work. Any clues what the site will be?" According to a building permit issued last month, a 12-story, 98-unit residential building, partly owned by Amnon Shalhov of Joy Construction, a big-time builder in the Bronx. COBBLE HILL/CSWD?Just last month we looked at the success of Columbia Commons on Warren Street, in the Cobble Hill/Columbia Street Waterfront District DMZ. Now reps inform us there are only 5 units left in the building, putting it at 88% sold. The remaining homes range from 609 to 838 square feet (the latter a 2BR/1BA with a private terrace) priced from $399,000 to $650,000. [CurbedWire Inbox]
