And now, the latest from Racked NY, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.
1) LES: The once-controversial American Apparel billboard on Houston and Allen streets is back and, er, tamer than ever. This time around, it sports only the image above.
2) MePA: Chain store Intermix has just signed a lease for its sixth Manhattan store, at 812 Washington Street. Similar chain Scoop already has four stores in the neighborhood, but Racked tells us not to expect a David vs. Goliath battle.
3) Soho: New New Yorkers Aritzia aren't quite ready to open their store at Broadway and Spring, but in the meantime, there's a pop-up shop in their future space. Plus, they got lofty with the interior design.
