Would you take less money for your apartment if it meant you could finally stop having open houses? If you're Boerum Hill residents Emily Huters and Trey Hatch, profiled in this week's Appraisal column, yes. The couple recently accepted an offer close to the $825,000 asking price of their 2BR so that they could stop cleaning up after their 1-year-old before each Sunday's open house. Their broker, who thought they could get closer to $900K in the spring, did not seem thrilled. [NYT]
