The sales market might be improving, but the outlook for the storefronts in all those shiny new condo towers? Maybe not so much. New York Mag digs up the stats on ground-floor retail, and out of 46 new and converted condos from the past five years, there are 69 empty retail spaces, thanks to a still-slow retail market and hesitant developers.
