New, 6 comments

GREENWICH VILLAGE?A tipster brings word of the plight of 20 Christopher Street: Stop Work and Vacate Orders up the wazoo, including the always-frightening "imminent danger to life" warning. According to PropertyShark, this little landmark (4 residential units in 2.5 stories) was built in 1910, and the DOB lists problems including work without a permit, failure to maintain the chimney and defective shoring. Yikes. Permits have been issued for emergency repairs. [CurbedWire Inbox/CurbedWire Staff]

SELLING NEW YORK?What's the latest with the Kleier klan, the colorful co-stars of HGTV's Selling New York? Book deal! And we're not talking some quickie cash-in biography/self-help guide. Out in September, Hot Property is, according to Library Journal, "a novel about—surprise!—three high-flying real estate women in New York balancing work, love, and marriage. With a 75,000-copy first printing; for fans of how-the-rich-live novels." Brokers writing novels? Now we've seen everything. [LIbrary Journal]
