Prospect Park's Big Shack o' Sticks Demolished

Here's one for the Shanty Hall of Fame: Park cops tore down an "elaborate, six-foot-tall house of twigs" that was built by a homeless man in Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Paper reports. The hut slept three (open floorplan!) and was next to the lake (water views!) near the Vanderbilt Street entrance to the park. Sadly, no pictures, so we created the above artistic interpretation of the demolition of this marvel (our proportions might be off). Standing in for the house of twigs is one of the Sukkah City entries that were displayed in Union Square last year. Maybe the shanty's architect can enter the next competition?
