Howard Schultz, the CEO of Starbucks, doesn't think Park Slope is part of the real Brooklyn. The topic of Brooklyn gentrification came up during a lunch with a Financial Times writer, and Schultz said of Park Slope, "That's not really Brooklyn," before saying about Bensonhurst, "That's Brooklyn." Maybe Schultz is just mad that Park Slope is filled with coffee shops that are better than Starbucks? [FT]
