141 Fifth Avenue Finally Unloads a Couple of Penthouses

141 Fifth Avenue has been "almost sold out" for more than a year, leaving us waiting on those creamy cupola penthouses. And waiting. But finally two of the building's penthouses, PHE and PHW, have sold. PHW found a pair of buyers in February for $5,142,162, down from a $6.25 million asking price. The buyer of PHE, one Allessandro Giuseppe Carlucci (perhaps the CEO) didn't bargain quite so well. The sale, which hit public record today, rang up at $4,137,412, down from an ask of $4.75 million. Now we're only waiting on two penthouses, the 3BR PHN, asking $5.5 million, and the cupola itself, still hanging on to its $12 million price tag. Has the toilet/shower combo been holding prospective buyers back? C'mon, live a little!
