Suing New York

New, 3 comments

Finally, the first Selling New York lawsuit! But it's about furniture. Bor-ing. The Real Deal reports that Brooklyn-based Heptagon Creations (known by its founder's name, André Joyau) is suing CORE because of this episode of the show, when "digital recreations of its signature tables and chairs" were shown without permission to buyers in a presentation about a penthouse at 240 Park Avenue South. Heptagon wants the $353,400 commission paid to CORE's Shaun Osher (the penthouse sold for $5.89 million), which sounds a bit crazy, but hey, that's showbiz. [Real Deal]
