For the second time in the past week, developer Aaron Malinsky's PA Associates has been released from a large Brooklyn project because of Malinsky's involvement in the Carl Kruger corruption case. PA Associates was already canned from the Brooklyn Navy Yard/ShopRite supermarket project, and now the Post reports the firm is done with City Point, the mixed-use project at the former Albee Square Mall that may one day have Brooklyn's tallest tower, but for now is just some retail. PA Associates wasn't a major partner in the project. [NYP; previously]
