Glassy Upper East Side Townhouse Lowers Its Expectations

New, 3 comments

The townhouse at 250 East 68th Street underwent a dramatic transformation from a traditional UES facade to something just a little more glassy. That was just one part of the renovation that bumped the ask from its 2005 purchase price of $3.7 million to this year's $9.5 million. For a little while. Just over a month after hitting the market, the house has already seen its price chopped $1 million, for a fresh ask of $8.5M. Maybe that's fair: the new owner will need to have something left over for window shades.
