Over at 250 East 57th Street, there have been some very definite signs of progress on the Whole Foods/supermarket/residential tower development that broke ground last year. Namely, the project's two schools, P.S. 59 and the High School of Art and Design, have topped out. Both schools and the Whole Foods will open in fall 2012. The SOM-designed residential tower should be built over the next three years, so there better be seitan at the open house. [DNAinfo]
