Regular users of Corcoran's excellent iPhone app (get onboard, people), are no doubt already familiar with the app's popular “Get Out Nearby” feature. As you browse homes for sale or rent, Corcoran provides a wealth of shopping, nightlife, and restaurant information tagged to the property you're looking at or your location in the city. It's tremendously useful. You can call to make reservations, read reviews, and even check-in on Foursquare, all directly within the Corcoran app.
Today, we're thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Corcoran on an exciting new feature that will populate Corcoran's app with news stories from Curbed, Eater, and Racked. Here's how it will work: If there’s hot news in the vicinity of a property you're viewing, a small banner will appear at the top of the page alerting you. One click and you're inside the story. We think it's a fun way to read our stuff—on the go as you search for real estate—and we're very happy that Corcoran has made it happen. Check it out. >>
