A Murdoch to Inhabit the Muppet Mansion?; Bravo Announces MDL

New, 1 comment

UPPER EAST SIDE?News that James Murdoch, son of Rupert, has been promoted and will relocate to New York has triggered a rumor: That James is the one behind the $23 million purchase of the Muppet Mansion at 117 East 69th Street, not The Daily editor Jesse Angelo. This rumor appears to have been started by a tweet from econoblogger Felix Salmon, and even AOL is jumping on it. Would make sense, no? [@felixsalmon]

TV LAND?Bravo just announced a bunch of new shows, including the New York spinoff of Million Dollar Listing that we've been obsessed with. No real news, but we now know what to call the show. The title is Million Dollar Listing NY, and it "follows some of Manhattan’s most relentless realtors as they close multi-million dollar deals faster than a yellow cab runs a red light. This docu-series sets out to prove that if you can make it/afford it here?well, you know the rest." Curbed National also has word of a new show starring Jeff Lewis of Flipping Out fame, if you're into that sort of thing. [CurbedWire Inbox]
