Clinton Hill Underground Railroad Stop Sells for $1.93M

When Clinton Hill's 364 Washington Avenue hit the market in October, it was asking $2.095 million. At 3,223 square feet for the 5BR, 5BA house, that works out to $610/square foot, a price in line with other listings in the neighborhood. And that's not even counting the place's historic pedigree: according to the brokerbabble, the pre-Civil War house was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Brownstoner was on board, writing in October, "This is definitely one of those situations where a buyer will fall in love, so anything could happen!" So what did happen? The closing hit public record today, for $1.93 million. Not bad, especially given the "few updates" called for in the listing.
