Brick Underground takes a look at the latest bedbug rules from the resident's perspective. The rules apply to co-ops and condos as well as rentals, but they don't solve all apartment-dweller bedbug woes: they don't require landlords and boards to treat apartments across the hall from infested ones. They also don't require buildings to inform current residents about bedbug problems unless two or more units are infested. But hey, at least apartment shoppers and renters will be well-informed.
