Though Uniqlo is planning a flagship there and Zara just paid $400 million for the NBA Store's digs, not all is well at 666 Fifth Avenue, the skyscraper bought for $1.8 billion by real estate scion/Observer owner/Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner. Ex-Observer scribe Eliot Brown writes that his old boss is millions of dollars short on debt-service payments (the mortgage is $1.22 billion), though we're not at red-alert levels yet. Brown even got a quote out of The Donald, which means Kushner is in the unenviable position of having a Wall Street Journal reporter call his in-laws as soon as things go south. [WSJ]
