MiMA: Drink It In; Closings Kick Off at West Chelsea's +Art

New, 1 comment

THE MIDDLE OF MANHATTAN, DUH?Is it possible that there are people in this city who have yet to hear of MiMA? Maybe they don't read Curbed. To get the word out about the building to these sad souls, the Related Companies is trying a marketing trick we haven't seen in a while: advertising on coffee cups. In the next few weeks, a whopping 300,000 MiMA cups will be distributed to vendors in FiDI, the Meatpacking District, Chelsea and Midtown. It's too bad dogs don't drink coffee. [CurbedWire Inbox]

WEST CHELSEA?Ekstein Development just announced that after a long haul that once saw the building's sales efforts frozen, closings and move-ins have begun at +Art, the 91-unit building set to be taken over by Elle Decor. The first unit to close in the West 28th Street building was a 445sqft studio for $595,000. [CurbedWire Inbox]
