Bowery Boogie attended #2,763 of the 10,000 public meetings needed before the Lower East Side's SPURA megaproject can kick off, and filed a pretty thorough report. Architect Neil Kittredge of Beyer Blinder Belle was there to present more ideas for the current parking lots at the foot of the Williamsburg Bridge, including a park on SPURA's largest site, and the possibility of a hotel or office space being added into the mix. "I want to come up with a design that we all like," Kittredge said, not realizing that's impossible. [Bowery Boogie; previously]
