Another opening day is upon us, which means it's time to check in once again on the delayed Heritage Field baseball diamonds that were supposed to be built along with the new Yankee Stadium. Surprise, the 10-acre park isn't ready (new estimate: fall 2011), and the local City Council member smells something rotten: "They built the new stadium in record time, but building replacement parkland for the community is literally dragging. I guarantee you if this was another neighborhood, this project would have been fast-tracked." [City Room]
