The residents of the largely industrial Dutch Kills section of Long Island City haven't quite welcomed the neighborhood's hotel boom with open arms. Actually, hotel builders are more likely to be greeted with a lawsuit. But at many sites, construction continues, and one new hotel is nearly ready for check in. It's the Four Points at 27-05 39th Avenue, or to be more accurate, Four Points by Sheraton Long Island City/Queensboro Bridge, and it's something, ain't it? The opening date is April 28, according to the website, and HotelChatter says rooms are priced as low as $139 per night. Plus, we're sure the neighbors will throw in some complimentary angry stares.
