What could make us care about the sale of a retail condo? How about the price paid: $400 million. That's what Zara is shelling out for the space currently occupied by the NBA Store at 666 Fifth Avenue, the office tower bought by the Kushners and partners for $1.8 billion a few years back. It's one of the biggest retail condo deals ever, and includes the costs of buying out the NBA Store's lease and helping the New Orleans Hornets make payroll. [WSJ]
