MiMA Will Coordinate Your Life, Improve Your Cell Phone Service

Could there possibly be anything more to say about MiMA, the Related Companies 63-story tower on West 42nd Street in Hell's Kitchen?pardon us, in the "Middle of Manhattan?" As Charlie Sheen would say, "um, duh." Related is tired of pretending like MiMA isn't some totally bitchin' rock star from Mars, so the company has officially unveiled the condo/rental/hotel/theater tower to the world via a press release. We already know that the building will entertain crowds on Frank Gehry-designed stages, store tourists in pods, treat dogs better than most humans and charge unprecedented prices for the neighborhood. That's only the beginning!

Here's one passage from the press release that has nothing to do with any of the stuff we've already mentioned:

MiMA is also one of the first buildings to feature a distribution antenna system which enhances cell phone service throughout the building and ensures residents on various carriers will have reception.Yes, AT&T, it has come to this: Your aggravated iPhone customers are now a target market for real estate developers. Meanwhile in the MiMAverse, the leasing office is open on the 25th floor, and the condo portion, which has been dubbed One MiMA Tower for some reason, has a temporary office on the 3rd floor.
