It took what felt like forever for Liberty Street's cursed Deutsche Bank Building to come down. The plans for what will replace it are coming along much faster. DNAinfo and the Daily News have the rendering and details on the planned tourist plaza, an $800,000 slab o' concrete that will double as an entrance to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. According to the Daily News, museum visitors will meet there to listen to talks before going into the site. Of course, though the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation has allocated the plaza funds, the Port Authority or the 9/11 memorial foundation still has to do the building. Target opening date: September 12.
