Stalled Site Needs a Miracle

Just when you thought the saga of the stalled Hotel Ludlow at 180 Ludlow Street couldn't get any weirder, here comes the rabbinical court! The Lo-Down reports that a rabbi was called in to mediate between the Lower East Side eyesore's developer, Serge Hoyda, and the people who say Hoyda still owes them millions for the property. We haven't heard of a rabbinical court getting involved in high-end Manhattan real estate since the Apthorp, and let's just say it takes more than the Chosen People to solve a problem like the Apthorp.
