In case anyone's interested in the 400,000-square-foot plot of land that came on the market recently next to the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park, something to be aware of: the property is mostly underwater, and we're not talking about the mortgage. A 4,000-square-foot slice of it remains dry land, but the pier that was previously on the site has long since collapsed. The future owner could construct a new pier, and possibly a warehouse.
