Sold Stuff

It's a big afternoon for NYC's stock of mansions. The latest mansion sale of note is at Clinton Hill's Julius Liebman Mansion, which just sold for $3.8 million. Even Landmarks Preservation Commission accolades weren't enough to garner this one the full ask: it was initially asking $5.5 million in 2009 and saw a PriceChop before finding a buyer. Given that the mansion is 9,200 square feet and comes with an additional carriage house, we're once again impressed with the buyer's negotiating skills. [Brownstoner]
