Fashion Editor's Upper West Side Makeover Asks $3.95 Million

New, 1 comment

Editor and morning TV show regular Suze Yalof Schwartz shocked the fashionista world when she announced last year that she was leaving her gig at Glamour and moving to California. Now her family's pre-war Upper West Side apartment has hit the market, and Schwartz told the world in that most modern of ways: on her blog, Dwellers Without Decorators. The family-size 4BR/3BA co-op at 316 West 79th Street is asking $3.95 million, and the brokers are calling it "Paris on the Hudson," though "Fashion Week on the Hudson" might be more appropriate given the two dedicated shoe closets and massive wine fridge (fashion industry folks drink Sauvignon Blanc in the mornings instead of coffee).

The family paid $2.6 million for the pad back in 2008, and then completely renovated the space. Check out these before-and-after comparisons of the extreme makeover to see what sort of work this old gal had done.
