Big changes might be in store for the NYC institution that is alternate side parking. The City Council will vote today on legislation that would reduce the number of street sweeping days to one per week for streets with a cleanliness rating of 90 percent or higher for two fiscal years. The new law could apply to at least 20 of the 59 community districts. Another bill being introduced today would allow temporary parking permits for those who are moving. C'mon, that's just making things too easy. [WSJ]
