Penthouse of Heath Ledger's Old Building Sells for $17M

The lofts at Soho's 419-421 Broome Street met with early success: all but one unit went into contract within two weeks of hitting the market back in November. The early sellers included the unit that was once Heath Ledger's $23,000/month rental. All that remained was the $20 million penthouse, and that, too, is now gone. Real Estate Weekly reports than an LLC-hidden buyer has picked it up for $17 million. The triplex space has a pretty nice looking 3,445 square feet of outdoor space?and the inside's not bad, either.
