Bowery's Neon Worms Starting to Take Shape

New, 2 comments

Architecture and design firm Family has been tweeting some photos of the early stages of "The Worms," the Slinky-like tents that will take over the Bowery for one day in May as part of the New Museum's Festival of Ideas. No nylon skin just yet, but at least we know these things can stretch without snapping back and killing a bike share activist in the process. Family, by the way, has the best architecture firm Twitter bio of all time: "Family is a New York based office dedicated to more productive typologies of ecological building. And burritos." Don't think the two are connected? Then you've obviously never tried to bond bricks using guacamole. The way of the future!
