The Queens flea market that was shut down last year to make way for the new Aqueduct racino will soon have a new home on Coney Island. With just a few changes, including the fact that no secondhand goods will be allowed to be sold. The market opens May 15 as part of the BK Festival, which also includes a concert/rodeo/pony ride fairgrounds. "It will be all upscale product, almost like an outlet center," one BK Festival owner tells the Times. Sounds like it's time for a Coney outlet vs. DoBro shipping containers deathmatch. [NYT]
